Alright I'm sort of serious about this post. I kind of want to grow my hair into dreadlocks, I mean, you can't really get away with it as an adult, so why not now? It would be fun, and if I didn't like it thats a forced haircut right there, and if I do like it, well fine. I read a little about it, and how, despite popular belief, yes, you're supposed to wash them. It doesn't sound too hard to grow or maintain, I mean no more so than my hair now, so yea. |

Well firstly, Happy Halloween, a day early I know, but I have a chance to update my journal now.
So this weekends been pretty eventful. On friday I helped set up/be part of a haunted house which was pretty slick. I skipped out on my sister being a materialistic thirteen year old and open presents, seeing as she is a teenager as of thursday.
Saturday was great. It snowed all day, through pep band letting me leave early enough to catch the train and go to the 9th annual Halloween Show with Big D at the axis. That was pretty ace going with alyssa and her friends. I have a bunch of CD's to buy once I get the money after seeing that show.
Today has been pretty much devoted to enjoying the sunshine and doing my homework. I'll probably do another entry in a month or so. |

They put my cat to sleep this morning. I've always wondered why they say put to sleep, I finally figured out because its hard to say the truth. He was our pet for 20 years, and everyone was really attached to him, but my dad is definetly having the hardest time. I guess thats what makes it hard for me, seeing my Dad so sad, but time goes on, but I am going to miss him. |

Question: How many five year-old children of equal male:female distribution could you take on in a fight before they would overwhelm you?
The Rules and Stipulations:
* The
fight will take place in a well-lit, empty room whose size will be
proportional to the number of assumed children, such that when the
children are standing at their preferred personal distance from one
another, the total area of the room's floor will be double that which
they collectively occupy
* You will receive no self-defense
training beyond that which you already know, but the children will all
have four hours' worth of training beforehand on how to take down an
adult; whether they choose to pay attention to this training or not is
up to them
* Neither you nor the children will have any material weapons provided, and all participants will be barefoot
* The
children will all be representative of the average five year-old in all
areas, e.g., intellect, height, weight, fear response, and strength
* When
a child is knocked or otherwise rendered unconscious, that child is
"out" and will not get back up at any point later in the challenge; the
same "out" rule applies to any child who is killed
* The challenge ends when you have been rendered unconscious or dead, or when all of the children in the room are "out"

I left where I was staying in Jamacia at 10:30ish in the morning on monday. I got home around 9:30 today. Tuesday. I'll tell you all more about the trip some other day. |
